Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is a British actress and film star known for her role in the film industry when she was a part of the BBC series "Doctor Who", which is a British science-fiction TV series. Gugu was famous for her character Tish Jones on the BBC series. The character was twin sister of a character known as Martha Jones. Chelsea Joy Handler, born on February 25, 1975, on the 25th of February, 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. She was the eldest of six children in her family. Her mother was a domestic worker, while her father worked as a used-car dealer. Her mother emigrated from Germany to the United States as a young woman in 1958. After ten long years of fight against breast cancer, she passed away in the year 1989. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement, and her father was Jewish. Handler enjoyed a pleasant and healthy life living in a posh area. Her move from the city of her birth to Los Angeles when she was aged 19 in order to pursue a career in acting. Handler began acting in order to earn cash. But, at age 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession since she discovered her storytelling talents. At the beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career as a member of the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on a hidden camera/practical joke reality TV series Girls Behaving Badly. The show ran on air from 2002 until 2005. The handler went on to work in many other shows like Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler started working as the correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler got her most famous break in 2006, as she became the host of E! known as The Chelsea Handler show. The show lasted 2 seasons. Handler followed this up by performing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up comedy shows. The announcement was made in 2010 that she would host the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. It made her the 2nd women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, who hosted the VMAs.
