Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. She's best known for the roles she played in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful, The Great and Powerful, Is Where I Leave You. She currently stars as Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who also works on television. She is famous for her roles in the drama show Rectify, as well as on the sci-fi series Timeless. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida and was first introduced to acting on the soap-opera All My Children. The actress was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for the Outstanding Female Newcomer. She largely played guest parts in TV series throughout the next couple of years. In the series Hawthorne the actress was widely praised for playing her character Dr. Erin Jameson. Her stunning looks and her acting skills her character slowly garnered a massive fan base. In the year 2000, she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she starred. As part of Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the program Timeless Spencer played her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was nominated as an Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's performance on Timeless. Timeless has earned praise from critics.
